Auction result well in line with expectations
In March this year Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work L’Attente by Claire Tabouret. The price achieved of GBP 241,300.00 (€ 274,525.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claire Tabouret - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Last Day, which sold at auction in March 2021 for GBP 622,500.00 (€ 731,277.14).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit L’Attente von Claire Tabouret zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 241.300,00 (€ 274.525,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Claire Tabouret mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Last Day beobachtet, die im März 2021 für GBP 622.500,00 (€ 731.277,14) versteigert wurde.
