In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work Aashiana (Hearth and Home) sold for GBP 138,600.00 (€ 153,903.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Salman Toor have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 4 Guests in November last year with an auction result of USD 856,800.00 (€ 829,991.28).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Salman Toor erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Aashiana (Hearth and Home) für GBP 138.600,00 (€ 153.903,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salman Toor auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 4 Guests im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 856.800,00 (€ 829.991,28).
