Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain, which included the work Patrol licorn by Aboudia. The price achieved of EUR 50,775.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aboudia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in July last year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 601,865.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Patrol licorn von Aboudia zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 50.775,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aboudia erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 601.865,52).
