Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Aboudia was sold in the Modern & Contemporary African Art auction at Bonhams in London in October last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 63,300.00 (€ 73,743.80). Admittedly, works by Aboudia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in July last year with an auction result of GBP 504,000.00 (€ 601,865.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Aboudia wurde im Oktober letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary African Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 63.300,00 (€ 73.743,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aboudia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 504.000,00 (€ 601.865,52).
