Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2014 Christies in London held the auction First Open/LDN, which included the work No Smoking by Adel Abdessemed. The price achieved of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,211.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adel Abdessemed achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Klan in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 206,500.00 (€ 263,670.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open/LDN durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Smoking von Adel Abdessemed zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.211,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adel Abdessemed erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Klan im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 206.500,00 (€ 263.670,67).
