The work Arbres à Cassis by André Derain was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in April last year. It achieved a price of EUR 277,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 54 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Derain achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arbres À Collioure in June 2010 with an auction result of GBP 16,281,250.00 (€ 19,799,515.40).

Die Arbeit Arbres à Cassis von André Derain kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 277.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 54 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Derain erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Arbres À Collioure im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.281.250,00 (€ 19.799.515,40).
