Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Baked Hawaii, from Wild Raspberries by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 5,100.00 (€ 4,752.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
