The work "Mick Jagger" by Andy Warhol was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The result of SEK 800,000.00 (€ 68,931.86) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 800,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit "Mick Jagger" von Andy Warhol wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 800.000,00 (€ 68.931,86) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 800.000,00 – 1.000.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andy Warhol erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Shot Sage Blue Marilyn im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 195.040.000,00 (€ 181.753.797,41).
