The work Queen Elizabeth II, from: Reigning Queens (Royal Edition) by Andy Warhol was auctioned at Christies in London in July last year. It achieved a price of GBP 403,200.00 (€ 481,492.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andy Warhol achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Shot Sage Blue Marilyn in May last year with an auction result of USD 195,040,000.00 (€ 181,753,797.41).
