Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art | London, which included the work Untitled (SK-FV) by Angel Otero. The price achieved of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 27,052.48) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angel Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figuring You Out in November last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 317,349.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (SK-FV) von Angel Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 27.052,48) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angel Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figuring You Out im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 317.349,61).
