Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Contemporary Passions, which included the work Untitled (Desert Night for Otto Freundlich) by Anselm Reyle. The price achieved of EUR 25,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anselm Reyle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 311,700.00 (€ 447,621.71).
