The work Evolution / Hommage à Thibaut le Chansonnier by Arman was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 13,860.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Arman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Accord Majeur, 1962 in January 2008 with an auction result of EUR 371,760.00.

Die Arbeit Evolution / Hommage à Thibaut le Chansonnier von Arman kam im Juni letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 13.860,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Arman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Accord Majeur, 1962 im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 371.760,00.
