In November 2021 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction A Thousand Roads: A Private Collection in Rome, which included the work Sfera, Studio by Arnaldo Pomodoro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 375,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Arnaldo Pomodoro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Giroscopio IV, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 674,500.00 (€ 943,457.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion A Thousand Roads: A Private Collection in Rome durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sfera, Studio von Arnaldo Pomodoro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 375.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Arnaldo Pomodoro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Giroscopio IV beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 674.500,00 (€ 943.457,03) versteigert wurde.
