This artwork by Ayako Rokkaku achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in July last year. In the 20th/21st Century Art Online auction, the work without title sold for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 345,888.65) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ayako Rokkaku have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Little Girl with Animals in April this year with an auction result of HKD 2,640,000.00 (€ 2,695,956.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ayako Rokkaku erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 345.888,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ayako Rokkaku auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Little Girl with Animals im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.640.000,00 (€ 2.695.956,52).
