It achieved a price of USD 52,500.00 (€ 47,089.43), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 31%. Admittedly, works by Carlos Mérida have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Pequeño Venado in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 212,500.00 (€ 190,600.05).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 52.500,00 (€ 47.089,43) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 31%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Carlos Mérida auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Pequeño Venado im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 190.600,05).
