Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Carlos Nadal achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2021. In the Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Sin título sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 32,301.01) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Carlos Nadal - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Molino, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 80,199.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Carlos Nadal erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Sin título für GBP 27.720,00 (€ 32.301,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Carlos Nadal mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Molino beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 80.199,27) versteigert wurde.
