Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Chu Teh-Chun achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in July last year. In the Modern Discoveries | Rare & Limited auction, the work Composition sold for HKD 163,800.00 (€ 20,438.87) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Chu Teh-Chun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harmonie Hivernale in April 2021 with an auction result of HKD 229,568,000.00 (€ 24,578,851.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Chu Teh-Chun erzielte im Juli letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Discoveries | Rare & Limited wurde die Arbeit Composition für HKD 163.800,00 (€ 20.438,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Chu Teh-Chun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Harmonie Hivernale im April 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 229.568.000,00 (€ 24.578.851,54).
