This artwork by Cuno Amiet achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2020. In the Swiss Made UNLOCKED auction, the work Blumen Und Äpfel, 1909 sold for CHF 150,000.00 (€ 141,078.27) - well above the upper estimate of CHF 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Cuno Amiet have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Die Wahrheit. 1913. in December last year with an auction result of CHF 890,800.00 (€ 901,041.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Cuno Amiet erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Zürich einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Swiss Made UNLOCKED wurde die Arbeit Blumen Und Äpfel, 1909 für CHF 150.000,00 (€ 141.078,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CHF 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cuno Amiet auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Die Wahrheit. 1913. im Dezember letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 890.800,00 (€ 901.041,95).
