The work White Rabbit by Cy Twombly was sold in the Contemporary Art | Milan auction at Sothebys in Milan in December 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 15,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Cy Twombly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (New York City) in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 70,530,000.00 (€ 66,777,125.54).

Die Arbeit White Rabbit von Cy Twombly wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Milan bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.120,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Cy Twombly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (New York City) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 70.530.000,00 (€ 66.777.125,54).
