Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 5941 Can you see?, from The Currency by Damien Hirst was sold in the Editions & Works on Paper auction at Phillips in New York in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,160.00 (€ 19,132.58). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 5941 Can you see?, from The Currency von Damien Hirst wurde im April letzten Jahres in der Auktion Editions & Works on Paper bei Phillips in New York versteigert.
