Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work For the love of God (Lenticular) by Damien Hirst was auctioned at Bonhams in London in November last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 2,805.00 (€ 3,250.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
