Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Damien Hirst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in January this year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Goodness, from The Aspects (H6-4) sold for GBP 27,720.00 (€ 31,462.63) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
