Auction result well in line with expectations
In January this year Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work I Once Was What You Are, You Will Be What I Am by Damien Hirst. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,290.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Januar diesen Jahres führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit I Once Was What You Are, You Will Be What I Am von Damien Hirst zur Versteigerung kam.
