This artwork by Damien Hirst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in January this year. In the Evening & Day Editions auction, the work Loyalty, from The Virtues (H9-7) sold for GBP 16,380.00 (€ 18,591.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
