Sold at the lower estimate price
In September 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Curated, which included the work It Would Be Inconceivable For The Progression To Pursue Its Course Unmolested, Since It Is A Progression by Dan Colen. The result of USD 30,000.00 (€ 27,510.32) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dan Colen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Boo Fuck'n Hoo in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 3,077,000.00 (€ 2,255,865.10).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im September 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Contemporary Curated durch, in der auch die Arbeit It Would Be Inconceivable For The Progression To Pursue Its Course Unmolested, Since It Is A Progression von Dan Colen zur Versteigerung kam.
