The work Tick it, Tock it, Turn it True, from The Blue Guitar by David Hockney was auctioned at Christies in New York in July last year. It achieved a price of USD 5,040.00 (€ 4,940.21), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Hockney achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nichols Canyon in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 41,067,500.00 (€ 33,579,313.16).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tick it, Tock it, Turn it True, from The Blue Guitar von David Hockney kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion.
