Auction result well in line with expectations
The work I've Got Your Lipstick by David Shrigley was sold in the Prints & Multiples OnlineDavid Shrigley & Co at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair auction at Bonhams in London in November last year. The price achieved of GBP 3,825.00 (€ 4,432.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Shrigley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (It's OK) in March last year with an auction result of USD 44,100.00 (€ 39,754.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit I've Got Your Lipstick von David Shrigley wurde im November letzten Jahres in der Auktion Prints & Multiples OnlineDavid Shrigley & Co at Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.825,00 (€ 4.432,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Shrigley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (It's OK) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.100,00 (€ 39.754,80).
