Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Running Boy by Donald Baechler was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 2,550.00 (€ 3,023.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Baechler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Conversazione in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 171,382.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Running Boy von Donald Baechler kam im März letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.550,00 (€ 3.023,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Baechler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Conversazione im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 171.382,56).
