Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Donald Judd was sold in the The Macklowe Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The price achieved of USD 1,351,000.00 (€ 1,258,969.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,200,000.00 – 1,800,000.00. Admittedly, works by Donald Judd have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,831,600.00 (€ 8,753,984.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Donald Judd wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Macklowe Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.351.000,00 (€ 1.258.969,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.200.000,00 – 1.800.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Donald Judd auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.831.600,00 (€ 8.753.984,51).
