Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East, which included the work Egyptian le Jardin Enchanté (The Enchanted Garden) by Effat Naghi. The price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 37,056.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 28,000.00 – 35,000.00. Other works by Effat Naghi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2014 the work without title was auctioned for USD 62,500.00 (€ 45,365.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East durch, in der auch die Arbeit Egyptian le Jardin Enchanté (The Enchanted Garden) von Effat Naghi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 37.056,36) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 28.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Effat Naghi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2014 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 62.500,00 (€ 45.365,46) versteigert.
