Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Undoing (K. 24) by Elizabeth Murray was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2021. Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,260.00 (€ 1,090.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elizabeth Murray achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little Fingers in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 437,500.00 (€ 397,041.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Undoing (K. 24) von Elizabeth Murray kam im Oktober 2021 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.260,00 (€ 1.090,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elizabeth Murray erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little Fingers im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 437.500,00 (€ 397.041,47).
