Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ouistiti by Francis Picabia was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 189,000.00 (€ 224,080.77) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Picabia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pavonia in March last year with an auction result of EUR 9,996,700.00.
