Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Mujer del Sureste," 1960 by Francisco Zúñiga was sold in the Modern Native American Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 9,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,200.00 (€ 10,134.13). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francisco Zúñiga achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 3,127,500.00 (€ 2,783,463.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit "Mujer del Sureste," 1960 von Francisco Zúñiga wurde im August letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Native American Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 9.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.200,00 (€ 10.134,13) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francisco Zúñiga erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grupo de cuatro mujeres de pie im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 3.127.500,00 (€ 2.783.463,87).
