This artwork by Frank Stella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March last year. In the Contemporary Edition auction, the work Talladega Three I, from Circuits sold for USD 22,680.00 (€ 20,445.33) - well above the upper estimate of USD 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Stella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Point Of Pines in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 28,082,500.00 (€ 25,188,357.70).
