Die Arbeit Sabatini Liquor Torch von Gary Simmons kam im Dezember 2017 bei Ketterer in München zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.500,00 und übertraf damit den zuvor vom Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreis um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gary Simmons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bows and Bones im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 114.300,00 (€ 131.669,22).
