Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Lady with a harp by Genieve Figgis was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in September 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 882,000.00 (€ 97,822.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18%. Admittedly, works by Genieve Figgis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Debutants Ball in March last year with an auction result of CNY 4,032,000.00 (€ 573,196.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Lady with a harp von Genieve Figgis kam im September 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 882.000,00 (€ 97.822,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Genieve Figgis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Debutants Ball im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.032.000,00 (€ 573.196,07).
