Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Kung Fu. by Helmut Middendorf was auctioned at Grisebach in December 2020. It changed hands for a price of EUR 18,750.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Helmut Middendorf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „City of the red nights II.“. in December 2021 with an auction result of EUR 118,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Kung Fu. von Helmut Middendorf kam im Dezember 2020 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 18.750,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Helmut Middendorf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „City of the red nights II.“. im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 118.750,00.
