Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Current Mood: Online Auction, which included the work Artists for Change by Henry Taylor. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,269.28) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henry Taylor achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I'Ll Put A Spell On You in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 975,000.00 (€ 861,079.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Current Mood: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Artists for Change von Henry Taylor zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.269,28) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henry Taylor erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I'Ll Put A Spell On You im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 975.000,00 (€ 861.079,22).
