This artwork by Horst Antes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2021. In the The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Horst Antes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figur Flora in December 2011 with an auction result of EUR 280,600.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Horst Antes erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Curator’s Eye: The Collection of Professor Dr Karin von Maur wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 3.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Horst Antes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figur Flora im Dezember 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 280.600,00.
