The work Road (Western Maine) by Hurvin Anderson was sold in the 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale: Worlds In A Hand auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 18,000,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 18,250,000.00 (€ 2,067,193.85). Admittedly, works by Hurvin Anderson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Audition in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 7,369,000.00 (€ 8,730,274.76).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Road (Western Maine) von Hurvin Anderson wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Evening Sale: Worlds In A Hand bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 18.000.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 18.250.000,00 (€ 2.067.193,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hurvin Anderson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Audition im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.369.000,00 (€ 8.730.274,76).
