Auction result well in line with expectations
The work New Hoover Convertibles, New Shelton Wet/Dry 10 Gallon Doubledecker by Jeff Koons was sold in the The Macklowe Collection auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. It changed hands for a price of USD 4,406,000.00 (€ 4,105,861.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 3,500,000.00 – 4,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jeff Koons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rabbit in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 91,075,000.00 (€ 81,688,940.71).

Die Arbeit New Hoover Convertibles, New Shelton Wet/Dry 10 Gallon Doubledecker von Jeff Koons wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Macklowe Collection bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 4.406.000,00 (€ 4.105.861,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.500.000,00 – 4.500.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jeff Koons erzielen.
