In May last year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, Afternoon Session, which included the work Selection From Survival: Trust Visions That Don't Feature Buckets of Blood by Jenny Holzer. The »bidding war« ended at USD 88,200.00 (€ 82,191.78), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jenny Holzer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Arno Pair in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,453,732.18).
