Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in New York held the auction 21st Century Evening Sale, which included the work Green Garden Landscape Pot by Jonas Wood. The price achieved of USD 3,060,000.00 (€ 2,851,551.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,500,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Other works by Jonas Wood have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2021 the work Two Tables With Floral Pattern was auctioned for USD 6,510,000.00 (€ 5,338,691.16).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in New York die Auktion 21st Century Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Green Garden Landscape Pot von Jonas Wood zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.060.000,00 (€ 2.851.551,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.500.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Jonas Wood konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2021 die Arbeit Two Tables With Floral Pattern für USD 6.510.000,00 (€ 5.338.691,16) versteigert.
