Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 25,200.00 (€ 29,357.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julian Opie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Walking in London in the rain in June last year with an auction result of CHF 189,000.00 (€ 189,036.11).
