Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two works: (i) T.N.O.N.-Y; (ii) T.N.O.N.-F by Kaws was auctioned at Phillips in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 226,800 (€ 198,217) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been given by the auction house as USD 200,000 - 300,000. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kaws achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Kimpsons #1) in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 57,877,000 (€ 6,615,255).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two works: (i) T.N.O.N.-Y; (ii) T.N.O.N.-F von Kaws kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 226.800 (€ 198.217) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 200.000 – 300.000 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kaws erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Kimpsons #1) im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.877.000 (€ 6.615.255).
