Auction result well in line with expectations
In July last year POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale, which included the work Portrai de jeune fille au bonnet rouge by Foujita. The price achieved of HKD 1,800,000.00 (€ 224,603.02) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 1,400,000.00 – 2,400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Foujita achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La fête d'anniversaire in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 7,096,250.00 (€ 8,002,380.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli letzten Jahres führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrai de jeune fille au bonnet rouge von Foujita zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 1.800.000,00 (€ 224.603,02) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 1.400.000,00 – 2.400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Foujita erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La fête d'anniversaire im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.096.250,00 (€ 8.002.380,76).
