Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/NYC, which included the work Mama! by Llyn Foulkes. Here, the upper estimate of USD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,892.00). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Llyn Foulkes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work My Last Chance in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 106,513.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/NYC durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mama! von Llyn Foulkes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.892,00) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Llyn Foulkes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit My Last Chance im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 106.513,92).
