Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Evening Auction, which included the work Spider IV by Louise Bourgeois. The price achieved of HKD 129,205,000.00 (€ 15,621,825.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 120,000,000.00 – 150,000,000.00. Other works by Louise Bourgeois have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2019 the work Spider was auctioned for USD 32,055,000.00 (€ 28,751,457.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Evening Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Spider IV von Louise Bourgeois zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 129.205.000,00 (€ 15.621.825,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 120.000.000,00 – 150.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Louise Bourgeois konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2019 die Arbeit Spider für USD 32.055.000,00 (€ 28.751.457,53) versteigert.
