The work Nu rose et coq ailé orange au village sur fond bleu by Marc Chagall was sold in the Marc Chagall, Colour of Life:Works Formerly from the Artist's Estate (Part II) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in December last year. It achieved a price of HKD 3,024,000.00 (€ 362,382.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marc Chagall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Amoureux in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 28,453,000.00 (€ 23,914,103.21).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen

Die Arbeit Nu rose et coq ailé orange au village sur fond bleu von Marc Chagall wurde im Dezember letzten Jahres in der Auktion Marc Chagall, Colour of Life:Works Formerly from the Artist's Estate (Part II) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 3.024.000,00 (€ 362.382,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marc Chagall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Amoureux im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.453.000,00 (€ 23.914.103,21).
