Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 31,250.00 (€ 24,088.49) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marion Kavanaugh Wachtel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sycamores, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 72,812.50 (€ 61,705.51).
